The Subaru Multi-Point Inspections
When your vehicle is at our local Subaru dealership, one of our experienced service professionals will take your vehicle back to begin the inspection. First and foremost, our technician will inspect the exterior of the vehicle for any damage and tire wear. In addition, the exterior check will include any fluid leaks from under the car. If you have complaints about your vehicle, we'll check each symptom to diagnose the problem.
Once the technician gets inside, they begin the inspection by checking under the hood. Your oil level is checked for color and contaminants that harm performance. In addition, we check and refill the coolant level and assess the brake fluid. Along with fluids, we'll also check each A/C and alternator drive belt for signs of wear. Once notes are taken, the technician proceeds to check your vehicle's brakes and suspension system.
This step of the inspection covers measuring each of your tires' tread depth, brake pads, discs, and testing the function of each of the brake calipers. Moving to the suspension, our technician will check each component, including the steering rack, struts, shocks, tie rods, and ball joints, for signs of wear. Moreover, the technician will check the skid plate and underbody panels for damage, especially if you have been off-roading near Concord. After checking the suspension, our technician moves over to the battery and electrical system. This includes checking each Subaru vehicle's tech systems, including StarLink® and Eyesight® driver-assist systems. Furthermore, we'll check all exterior lights and any stored diagnostic codes.
Finannally, our technician will check the cabin and comfort features, including the cabin air filters, defroster, wiper blade, and air conditioning. Afterward, the technician will mark up the inspection, checking, and color-code each component based on whether it's good, needs service soon, or requires immediate attention.
