Features
The Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness features an uprated 2.5-liter Subaru Boxer® engine,
offering 182 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to all four
wheels with symmetrical all-wheel drive and a redesigned CVT transmission. The
optimized transmission allows the Crosstrek Wilderness to climb gradients up to
38 degrees for enhanced all-terrain performance. Further performance
enhancements include the ability to tow 3,500 pounds.
The new
Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness features 9.3 inches of ground clearance for the
trail. With a standard front skid plate to protect the vehicle's underside from
debris around the trails near Laconia. Standard dual-function X-Mode re-tunes
the powertrain to handle various off-road surfaces better. These include deep
snow, dirt, and mud. Thus, you can navigate around Canterbury Spring with
ease.
Technology
and Safety Features
While
traveling near Tilton, you stay connected through the Subaru multimedia system. Through the standard 11.6-inch touchscreen, your apps are at
your fingertips through wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. You can
easily manage your apps and other features, even customizing the interface to
suit your preferences. You can also keep your smartphone charged on the journey
with a standard wireless charging pad.
To keep you
safe near Hooksett, the new Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness offers Subaru EyeSight®
Driver Assist. These safety features allow you and your passengers to stay safe
whether on I-93 or traveling on a dirt road near Manchester. Amongst the safety
features included are Pre-Collision Braking and Adaptive Cruise Control.
Additional safety features include Lane Departure Warning to ensure you stay
centered in your lane on the highway.
Interior
Features
Inside, the Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness features water-repellent StarTex® upholstery.
This durable material keeps water and other fluids from getting damp or stained
during a rainy day or when you return from kayaking on the Piscataquog River.
The
Crosstrek Wilderness features seating for five, with flexible fold-down 60/40
rear seats. These seats feature protective seatbacks to handle cargo wear and
four-legged friends for long-lasting durability. Further, the standard LED
cargo lamp attached to the rear gate helps you easily find gear and other
supplies when camped or parked at night. The interior offers 54.9 cubic feet of
cargo space to stow what you need on the journey.
Exterior
Design
Rugged
toughness is at the heart of the Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness design. The
body features protective cladding with redesigned front and rear bumpers to
protect you from possible impact damage from obstacles and foreign objects.
Standard anodized copper roof rails can hold up to 700 pounds of cargo. For a
weekend camping trip, you can carry everything from bikes, kayaks and even a
rooftop tent.
Other
exterior additions include hexagon-pattern LED fog lights to illuminate
nighttime travel easily. The hood also features an anti-glare hood decal that
reduces the sun's glare. You can thus see better down the trail.
