Performance

The 2025 Subaru Forester is powered by the same engine as the previous model year. This engine is a 2.5-liter SUBARU Boxer engine, which makes 180 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. This engine works with a continuously variable transmission. Symmetrical all-wheel drive is standard with all trim levels. Beyond this, the 2025 Subaru Forester comes with active torque vectoring and an SI-Drive performance management system.

Technology

For the 2025 model year, the Subaru Forester makes a 11.6-inch touchscreen display an optional upgrade. The standard touchscreen is a 7-inch display that comes with Bluetooth connectivity, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, satellite radio, and an HD radio. The top-level Touring trim comes with a 9-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.

Interior Features
